As is being communicated throughout the world, Madeira was hit this passed weekend by an unique storm (natural disaster) that devastated much of the south coast of the island, particularly Funchal. Having said this, public and private entities, as well as the population in general are all working side-by-side, hand-in-hand, to restore all of the affected areas as quickly as possible so as to rebuild the lives of those that were severely hit.
